Man City star Kevin de Bruyne named PFA Players’ Player of the Season for second season running

Kevin de Bruyne has won the 2021 men’s PFA Players’ Player of the year Award.

Chelsea forward Fran Kirby has taken the women’s award while Phil Foden meanwhile has scooped the Young Player of the Year award.

De Bruyne wins the award for the second season running, fending off City teammates Foden, Ruben Dias and Ilkay Gundogan along with Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes and Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

Chelsea’s all-time leading goal scorer Kirby meanwhile saw off competition from teammates Sam Kerr and Ann-Katrin Berger.

Foden takes the young player’s award ahead of fellow England internationals Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mason Mount, Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka and Mason Greenwood.
