Kieran Trippier will consider leaving Atletico Madrid to return to the Premier League this summer with Manchester United interested in the right-back.
The 30-year-old is on the brink of La Liga success with Atletico two points clear at the summit of Spanish football heading into the final round of fixtures.
Diego Simeone’s side take on Real Valladolid on the final day with Real Madrid praying for a slip-up when they take on Villarreal.
Atletico signed Trippier from Tottenham in the summer of 2019 and are reportedly ready to offer him a new contract, with his current deal set to expire next summer.
But The Athletic reports Trippier is ‘minded to return to England in the summer’ with United said to be interested in a move.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been the first-choice right-back at Old Trafford since his arrival from Crystal Palace in 2019, playing the full 90 minutes in 34 of United’s 37 league games this season.
But the club are reportedly considering bringing in a more attacking option to compete with the 23-year-old, with Trippier and Norwich City youngster Max Aarons the names being considered.
United have reaped the benefits of adding competition for Luke Shaw at left-back this season, with the England international taking his game to the next level thanks in part to the presence of Alex Telles.
