England’s squad for the delayed Euro 2020 will be announced on Tuesday afternoon, when Gareth Southgate can name up to 26 players that he will take to the tournament this summer.

It is not guaranteed that Southgate will choose to name a full 26-man squad, with Spain boss Luis Enrique only going with 24 players for their campaign.

There also remains the chance to make changes to the squad until the final submission date of 1 June.

With 26 spaces available, there should be plenty of room for England’s star players, but there remains doubts, with Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold possibly being a high-profile casualty of incredible competition at right-back.

There are injury concerns over Harry Maguire and Jordan Henderson, but both are expected to make the squad.

Kalvin Phillips is a doubt after picking up a shoulder injury playing for Leeds on Sunday, while Nick Pope has been ruled out of the Euros through injury.

When is the England squad announced?

The squad will be announced at 1pm UK time on Tuesday 25 May.
