Lionel Messi has been pictured in a Paris Saint-Germain kit for the first time following his sensational departure from Barcelona.
The Argentina legend has agreed a two-year deal with the French giants after being told he could not stay at Barca because of ‘financial and structural obstacles’.
Messi has spent his entire career at Barcelona – winning ten La Liga titles and four Champions Leagues – but Barca could not afford a new deal under financial fair play rules in Spain.
PSG will officially unveil Messi at a news conference in the auditorium of the Parc des Princes on Wednesday morning, and the Argentinian will also speak out for the first time as a Paris Saint-Germain player.
