Romelu Lukaku feels he has unfinished business at Chelsea as he gears up for a record-breaking transfer.

Lukaku, 28, was happy to stay at Inter Milan this summer but looks set for a last-gasp return to Stamford Bridge.

While Inter have just won Serie A, the club is struggling financially and they have set a £100million asking price for the striker.

Chelsea are willing to cough up the dough, with Thomas Tuchel determined to add a recognised striker this summer to his Champions League winning side.

Erling Haaland and Harry Kane were both targets for the Blues but Lukaku looks the most realistic deal to pull off at this stage.

Lukaku, 28, is keen on a return to Chelsea, according to The Sun.

While he is settled in Milan, he acknowledges this could be his final major move and he is determined to prove himself once more in the Premier League.

He feels he will be valued at Chelsea and will relish being their main man up front.

Roman Abramovich views the former Manchester United striker as the ideal man to lead a title charge and Chelsea chiefs hope Lukaku will be the key to them pipping Manchester City to Premier League glory.

While Lukaku tasted success with Inter last season, they have lost coach Antonio Conte as well as defender Achraf, who was sold to Paris Saint-Germain.

Marcos Alonso could head the other way in any deal for Lukaku, although Inter turned down an initial £85m approach.

Belgium international Lukaku made just 10 Premier League appearances in his first spell at Stamford Bridge, before being sold to Everton for £28m.

Lukaku could be one of three players to eclipse the £100m mark this summer.

Manchester City are chasing two £100m+ deals for England internationals Jack Grealish, the Aston Villa captain, and Harry Kane, who skippers Tottenham Hotspur.

Kane is attempting to force through a move by failing to report for Spurs training, while Villa are set to accept a £100m offer for Grealish.
